When you use SociableKIT, you can create, customize and embed different social media feeds <a href="https://www.sociablekit.com/widgets/">and more</a> on your website. That means you created one SociableKIT widgets.</li> <li>If you create another SociableKIT widget for example, to your YouTube channel videos. That means, you created two SociableKIT widgets already. </li> </ul> If you need to create another SociableKIT widgets for your other social media feed, that will depends on the subscription plan you will buy. Why is my feed not working?

Your feed isn't working for a few different reasons. I'd be happy to help you understand why and figure out how to get it working. Let's work together to determine what might be causing the issue so we can get your feed up and running.

It takes some time to sync. Your feed may take some time to sync because different data sources can have varying sync times. Some data is easy to access and can be synced quickly, while others may be more difficult to obtain and take longer to sync.

For the first-time sync, when you create a new widget, it usually syncs within a few minutes, but it might take up to 24 hours.

For free plan users, you’ll need to manually request a sync, which can be done every 24 to 72 hours. The system handles many requests, so syncing might take some time based on how busy it is.

For paid plan users, widgets sync automatically, but the timing depends on the widget type. Some update every hour, while others may take up to 24 hours. You can check the exact schedule in the widget’s settings on the left side of the customization page.

How to hide scrollbar from iFrame?

If you cannot use our JavaScript embed code, the remaining options are our iFrame embed code. In Wix's case, embed it as a link or external site. Wix will show it as an iFrame embed. The same goes with Google sites.

The disadvantage is, an iFrame will show a vertical scrollbar if the feed's content is longer than the iFrame height that you set. We cannot completely hide the iFrame scrollbar. We have some workarounds that might be good enough.

Anticipate the height of your feed's content. Set the height of your iFrame more than the height of your anticipated content.
Use a Slider Layout and set the height of your iFrame more than the height of your slider. This way, you can load more contents to the right or left. The default layout uses a load more button that shows up more content at the bottom of the feed. It will show a vertical scrollbar in that case.
Try to add scrolling="no" attribute to the iFrame or overflow:hidden; in your iFrame's CSS.

How to activate the free plan?

Once your 7-day premium trial ends, you have the option to choose on subscribing to our subscription plans or the free plan version.

To activate the free plan, please follow the steps below.

Step 1: Login your SociableKIT account here.
Step 2: Once logged in, you will see a message on this link that your premium trial has ended.

Step 3: Click the "Subscribe Now" under the "Subscription" tab.

Step 4: In the "Free plan" container you will see an "Order Now" button. Click the button then it will show you a pop-up where you can activate the free plan.

Step 5: Once you are done clicking the "Activate free plan" button it will display a green pop-up message stating that you have successfully activated the free plan. Your widget/s should be working again.

How to refresh the feed?

If you're on our free plan, your feed can be refreshed by requesting sync manually. Follow the steps below.

Login to your SociableKIT account.
Find your solution and click the "Edit" button.
On the upper right corner, click the Activate free plan button if it is not yet activated.
Click the "Request sync" button.

You can request sync only once every 24 hours. The refresh usually happens within an hour but might take up to 24-48 hours due to a high number of requests.

On our "live stream" solutions like Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch live stream, refresh happens within 3-5 minutes.

Please note that sometimes due to system overload you will not be able to request a sync or your sync request will fail. You can request a sync again base on the time shown on the sync request popup. Here's an example:
