# Why is my widget not working on WordPress?

If you are planning to add your [SociableKIT widget](https://www.sociablekit.com/widgets/) on your WordPress website and you are on their **Free**, **Starter**, or **Explorer** plan on your WordPress website, you will be unable to add or embed your SociableKIT widget.

This is because the **Free**, **Starter**, or **Explorer** plan on WordPress has code restrictions which will not allow you to add an **HTML code** or specific codes on your website. The type of code you can add to a WordPress.com website depends on your plan level.

We suggest that you upgrade your plan on WordPress to the **Creator** plan if you want to add a SociableKIT widget on your WordPress website.
