# What is API access?

Our **API access** feature is available in paid plans and lets you use the JSON data feed of your [SociableKIT widget](https://www.sociablekit.com/app/users/widgets/index). This means you can display the widget data on your website while applying your own custom design. It allows your developer to create a style that fits your brand’s look and feel. This gives you full control over how the widget appears and functions. 

To use the JSON data feed of your widget, please follow these steps:

* Go to your [SociableKIT widget](https://www.sociablekit.com/app/users/widgets/index).
* Find the **Options** or 3 dots button and click it.
* On the dropdown, select the data feed button.

By using API access, you ensure your website is not only more engaging but also customized to your unique needs. It’s an excellent investment that will enhance your site’s performance.
