# Does SociableKIT make my website load slow?

Website page load speed depends on a variety of factors such as caching, bulky code, and JavaScript issues. The list below outlines common reasons for website slowness:

1. Internet connection.
2. High-resolution images can consume a lot of bandwidth while loading. Please consider image format as an important factor—feeds load faster when using JPEG images instead of PNG or GIF.
3. Too many ads. Limiting the number of display advertisements can help improve your website’s performance.
4. Website traffic. The more visitors your site has, the slower it may become.

If none of the factors above are causing the slow loading issue, you will need to exclude the SociableKIT JavaScript and CSS from your minification plugin to ensure it runs properly.
